Model H1 This is my basic double sided set of playing hammers which is most suitable for instruments with 7/8" string spacing. I use a variety of woods for the handles. The shaft and heads can be walnut, cherry or maple. Maple is heaviest, cherry next with walnut being the lightest. Please specify your preference. All hammers are about 8 1/2" long. I can make them shorter on special order. |

Model H2 These double sided hammers have the same grip but have a head that is a flatter shape for those of you who want more hitting surface. These are more suitable for instruments with 1" string spacing. Available in (from top to bottom) walnut, cherry, and maple. |

Model L1 This is Lucille Reilly's recommended hammers. Notice the thicker grip. They are available in walnut, cherry, and maple. |

Held between thumb and middle finger in center of bow handle(Your thumb will become a pivot point) Index and ring finger fit naturally in curves of the bow handle. Place the bow on the string course you want to play and pivot the handle up or down to create the bowing sound. You will have one in each hand You rosin the 'bow' just like you would a violin bow. I found it works with difficulty on tight string spacing 7/8" or tighter. Better on wider string spacings.Ordering Information or just send me a check |
