Create a List: Please list the items you'd like to purchase, their price and quantity. If you plan to pay with a check and send in your order you can print out a zither order form, a bowed psaltery order form or just a blank order form by clicking on the links. Choose Method of Payment

• Personal Check
  A check payable to JAMES JONES INSTRUMENTS or a money order is my preferred method of payment especially for more expensive instruments. It means I don't have to share my profits with credit card companies. Using a credit card, will cost me 3%. Not a big deal on smaller purchases but on a larger instrument purchase it can add up. As a result I prefer checks on on all instruments but particularly larger purchases.
  
  
• UPS-COD.
  This method will cost an extra $9 beyond the actual cost of shipping. Just e-mail or call indicating the items you'd like and your shipping address. You will write the UPS driver a check when he delivers the package.
  
  
• Credit Card or PayPal
  • Click on the button below to pay on-line using a credit card or Paypal. Call only if you are having problems or feel uncomfortable with the process. I can take your credit card information over the phone but prefer not to. Call if you need to clarify the total cost of the order including shipping.
    
    
  • Enter the grand total of your order (including shipping) into the Unit Box

  • If you want to use a major credit card, Click on Continue on bottom left of page near the credit card symbols. On the next page don't Login to Paypal. Click the "Continue without logging in"

Shipping Charges

Because of high gas prices, shipping costs are going through the roof. In an attempt to be fair to those of you who live closer by, I've changed the way I determine some shipping charges. Most charges will be determined by the zone you live in, the actual or dimensional weight of the package and insurance. These numbers also will give you an approximate idea of how many days your shipment will take. If you think these shipping charges are high check with UPS yourself. I also pay up to $17 a week for UPS to come out and pick parcels up.

• Orders are usually shipped within 48 hours unless I'm out of stock or I have to build it.

Custom Orders:

For ordering things that have to be built, send a $100 deposit with a clear description of the options and items you desire. I'll contact you to confirm receipt of your deposit and to indicate how long it will be before completion. The balance will be due when your instrument is finished. I'll contact you via regular or e-mail when your instrument is ready.

International Orders:

I am able to ship things overseas but you should be aware that it is somewhat expensive. The cost of shipping depends on the instrument and can range from $50 to $450. A zither would cost around $40 to ship while a bowed psaltery runs about $75. I'd be glad to give you a more accurate quote on the shipping. I generally ship via Air Parcel Post which is the least expensive. This method takes around a week to get there although they have size restrictions so for larger instruments I am forced to use UPS or FedEx which is faster but more expensive. Paying for instruments can be done using paypal or credit cards by clicking the above pay button. Your order must be paid for before shipment.
