Hardshell Dulcimer  Case

Made of a laminated 3 ply wood shell with black Durahyde exterior, steel reinforced joints, heavy duty brass hardware, comfort grip handle and brass skids on bottom. The plush inner lining covers 1" foam padding. This hard case fits up to a 36" long dulcimer with a 8" lower bout and  6 1/2" upper bout, with a depth of 3 3/4". The case has an accessory/ interior compartment and fits my dulcimers (as shown). The accessory divider can be removed making the length a total of 40".  The other dimensions remain the same.  The case weighs 10 lbs. This is a quality case providing excellent protection. Note: This case will also fit Uilleann pipes (the Irish bagpipes) but you will probably need to remove the accessory divider..
